What is “deBoDAY”?
deBoDAY is an annual event where we celebrate DeBo in all his absurdity. Some years are smaller than others, but all are equally outlandish.
deBoDAYs 2025 will take place in Wytheville, VA on July 25th - July 27th. This year it’ll be a multi-day festival of controlled debauchery in honor of one mysterious man’s descent into middle age.
The Weekend’s Activities
Friday, July 25
Drinks at The Log House
Meet us at 7PM sharp at the Log House — a historic cabin/dive-bar that feels like it was furnished by the Swiss Family Robinson. There will be drinks, toasts, mild heckling, and at least one story DeBo would prefer not be told (so please, tell it).
Dress Code: Cryptid-on-vacation.
Saturday, July 26
Outdoor Screening of Over the Top
We’re showing the 1987 Sylvester Stallone arm-wrestling epic Over the Top on a giant screen under the stars at DeBo’s mountain lair. Bring blankets, lawn chairs, and your beverage of choice (if you don’t love Genny Cream, that is).
Arrival Time: Anytime after 6PM. Movie starts at sundown.
Camping is available — pitch a tent, park your van, commune with the forest.
Costumes Encouraged: Bonus points for Stallone cosplay, 80s fringe, or anything that says “I live for the drama of arm-wrestling.”
Sunday, July 27
Farewell Brunch for the Last Ones Standing
If you survived the night, join us for a slow, greasy goodbye on Sunday morning. There will be brunch foods (likely including tater tots), coffee, and emotional closure. Maybe even a group primal scream before hitting the road.
Time: 11AM-ish. Let’s be real.
Location: Same farm. Follow the smell of sausage and regret.
